The Answer Man

I saw a movie today titles "The Answer Man". It was nice, in the typical hollywood kinda way. Man struggles through a crisis and meets a girl, falls in love, etc etc. But what i really liked about the movie was that he says that he had questions and he started writing them down. Slowly he started to answer those questions. and what came out of it was a book. he says that he meant what he said and he sticks by it.

i find that to be very true. again it comes back to the "truth" what might be the answers to the questions are personal and dependent on each person. and they keep changing.

Will Start Writing Again

I know it's been a long long time, and yes, i will start writin once again... Just gimme a day or two, and i'll put all my thoughts down on paper.

Anyways, 25 Random Things ( I had so much fun that I decided to write 30)

1. I hate odd numbers. Except multiples of 5. Can’t stand them especially when they represent volume. I need to put the volume to an even number even if it means a louder volume than I would like

2. The small small things in life interest, amuse and fascinate me.

3. Me and a close friend of mine would make the perfect couple. There's just one small snag. We're not attracted to each other.

4. I wanna send my kids to a KFI (Krishnamurti Foundation of India) school.

5. I want a daughter.

6. My friend Vikram tells me that I should have a daughter so that a guy “like me” will go out with her when she’s older and it’ll torture me.

7. I loved Kate Beckinsale in Underworld. The black patent leather body suit and everything.

8. I’m obsessed with vampires, The Sphinx, the name Lucifer and Greek mythology.

9. My ex girlfriends say that I have mood swings. I think I agree with them.

10. U should never mess with me when I’m hungry or sleepy. I’m either one of them 99% of the time. The rest of the time, I’m eating or sleeping. Or maybe it’s 40% - 60%.

11. I love my job (Hey, I’m still new at it)

12. I don't bother with the way people spell my name. As long as I know that I'm the one being called. If you can't spell or pronounce it, call me D.

13. I believe that 90% of women say that they don’t get mood swings when “it’s that time of the month”.

15. I hate Hindi movies. When someone drags me to one, I keep making fun of the movie while it is
going on. (You know who you are)

16. I hate watching sports. Don’t find the point of it.

17. My friend Akshay is my most unconventional friend. Thought he’s fallen prey to a very conventional predator. Love. :D (Sorry Pad, never thought he would :D)

18. I think I’m a very boring person. I don’t talk much and I don’t know any jokes.

19. I just realized that my life is empty coz I can’t write 25 simple, random things about myself

20. My best “insights” into “life, the universe and everything” come only when I’m driving or riding a bike at 80 – 100 kms per hr. (You literary types will get the reference to a book in this one)

21. I wanna learn archery. Now that’s a weapon that needs skill. I also wanna learn long range shooting (Sniper School)

22. I wish guys had an excuse like “it’s that time of the month” to scream incoherently at someone.

25. I always feel that my head is empty coz there doesn’t seem to be any legitimate thought in it. Ever.

26. I don’t think I know what kind of a girl I’m looking for. I’ve gone out with all possible combinations. Sure I have a general idea, but that also keeps changing. (Rane, u know what I’m talking about.)

27. I tend to make it sound like my life is shit when someone asks me how my life is. Even if my life is
really good at that point.

28. My friends, especially Tejveer thinks that it’s high time I got a girlfriend. I think that they think that I become neurotic when I’m single.

29. Little do they realize that I’m usually neurotic. It’s just that my poor girlfriend needs to listen to all my neuroticism.

30. I’m genuinely sorry about the way I treated one of my exes. She really didn’t deserve it.

Sexual Fantasies

I think every generation has its iconic sexual fantasies that every guy wants to recreate. By sexual fantasies I mean the dressing up and role playing part. Obviously everyone’s sex goddess is Jenna Jameson, but here I’m talking bout movie, video game heroines. Our parents (between the ages of 40 – 60) had Princess Leia (right spelling?) from Star Wars. We, on the other hand, staying true to our information, connected age seem to be obsessed with Lara Croft from the Tomb Raider series. And ofcourse, putting Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft definitely helped to instil Lady Croft as a favourite among us perverted nymphomaniacs. And even though Angelina Jolie is on the medium side of things, upper body wise, the padded bra in Tomb Raider the movie (the first one) definitely helped put things into perspective. And hey, lets be straight. Who the hell doesn’t want to sleep with Angelina Jolie?! Every bloody person I know wants to. I say person because I know a few women also who’d like to sleep with her. :D

Ok…. Let me be honest here. There is only one guy I know who doesn’t find her attractive. And even though I have no doubts of his orientation, I can’t help but wonder…. HOW?! How can he not find her attractive? I guess, to each his own, right?

Another favourite seems to Selena from Underworld. And who can blame them? Kate Beckinsale’s hot! The full body leather skin tight suit definitely helps. :D this I guess would be some sort of vampire fetish. But if we’re lookin at vampires, then I’d definitely prefer Kristanna Loken from Bloodrayne.

An all time fantasy among all generations seems to be nurses and maids. Hot ones of course. What’s with that?

What do fantasies represent anyways? Is it the subconscious mind’s way of saying that the person you’re with is not good enough or that he / she can and should be something more and better? Or is it something else like escaping reality, being someone else or something like that? Is it that we are not happy with our life and who we are? Is it some sort of a mild drug?

I think I over analyze and over think things.

Kiss? What is a Kiss?

You know how your relationship just kinda gets boring? The kisses don’t hold the same appeal? Well that had happened to me some time ago. The kisses in my relationship some how didn’t hold the same appeal….. they just kinda got……. Boring…….

Without going into personal details, lemme just say that my girlfriend and I discussed it and we both felt the same. I decided that I’m not gonna give up without a fight. Next time, I resolved to make it memorable. So, I tried a few things, and anyways, now things are pretty much perfect. That got me thinking, what constitutes a kiss?

Is a kiss just a mish mash, jumble, dueling of tongues, teeth, lips and saliva? I know it sounds gross, but hey, that’s what it basically is right? (I love kissing btw). And since I love kissing, I’m kinda inclined to think that it’s much more than that. Anyways, back to the basic deed. When you kiss (and I’m talking only from a guy’s point of view here. I don’t even want to consider looking at it from a girl’s point of view. Things are just too weird in a girl’s head).

Anyways, when you kiss, is only using your mouth good enough? Is that all what a kiss is supposed to be? From my experience, only using your mouth (and i'm talking about the mouth as a whole with everything it has) doesn’t do it. I’m guessing that no matter how good a kisser you are, the kiss by itself doesn’t have the same spark it used to after some time.

Is it like a drug that the body gets used to and fails to respond to? Do you need higher doses or better stuff to make you feel that familiar, amazing tingling? (Hey! That’s what some women have told me……. Tingling…… Interesting word isn’t it….. Wonder how it feels…… :D…….. Just kidding….. :D )

Anyways, so, in order to get that ‘higher dose’, does one need to do better things? More things? Like maybe use your hands on different part of the woman’s body? And if you do use your hands, can you consider it a part of kissing? Is that a kiss? Because, well, you aren’t using just you mouth. And then, because of this, are you slowly progressing to foreplay? (I know that kissing is a part of foreplay, but I’m talking about only kissing under the circumstances that you don’t want to or can’t go any further than kissing.)

Also, is a kiss a yardstick or a measurement of how your relationship is? Is it an ECG (the test that tell you whether your heart is fine or not in medical terms) of the relationship?

“I’m sorry sir, the ECG of your relationship came out. It’s bad news. Based on your kiss, you relationship is deteriorating. Soon, it will be dead.” ------ You might not get that. You'll have be my head to actually understand that. (Now I feel like Dr. John Dorian, also known as J.D. from Scrubs.)

I mean, how do you know whether or not your relationship is working? If someone or something had to tell you that your relationship's going to last would you listen to them? Similarly, is the kiss a benchmark or a measurement of your relationship? Is the kiss the thing that tells you "Your relationship is perfect! Don't worry.......!"
